
Carrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 is a Canadian actress. Her fame was boosted by her role in the role of Trinity in The Matrix (1999-present) after doing a handful of parts on television. Memento (2000) was her first big role. She won the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Supporting Character, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) also earned her the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress. Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015) to 2019 was her most recent TV show. She also was Jeri Hogarth. Moss, who was living in Spain at the time, was given the role of Tara Marshall who was the clerk to Judge Nicholas Marshall, in Dark Justice. It was her first television appearance. Moss relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles with the series in 1992. Moss left Dark Justice before the series' third and final season and was replaced by Elisa Heinsohn as Samantha "Sam" Collins. She was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena after her return and then she was a part of the soap opera on primetime at Fox Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. The series was canceled on July 1, 1995. She headlined a short-lived made-in-Canada show titled Matrix. [3] Throughout the 1990s she played an actor on several television series including Street Justice and Baywatch. She also appeared in F/X: The Series and Due South. Due South was nominated for the Gemini Award for Best Guest Actress in a drama. Her film credits included numerous B films like Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (94), Tough Guy (94), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (191996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
