Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. There are more than 20 albums that have been made available by her. DiFranco categorizes her music as folk-rock and alternative, but it also includes influences like hip-hop, punk and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement, and was among the first musicians to launch her own label 1990.
