Lindsey Vonn is an American skier, born on October 18, 1984. She retired in 2010 after having won the four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal in downhill skis. Vonn has the second-highest overall score of all skiers both female and male. She is one the greatest and most beloved skiers of history. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup-winning alpine skier from America who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has won 4 World Cups. She is among the most famous athletes in American history. She is one of just six female athletes who have taken home trophies in all five World Cup competitions in alpine. She has taken home 82 World Cup titles in all. The best skier around the globe and the most profitable American ski racers have decided to take a break following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. A string of health problems caused the Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. Her announcement of retirement was made on social media.
